Floral Inspirations

FLOOD, The longer film I am working on has a lot of graphic floral references, I think you may appreciate a study here that will be incorporated as a part of a moving pattern on a turin that plays a big role in the film. It will be duplicated and separately animated on a dish, this one is a baseline to how it could move. In the later part of the film, plants become more prominent, and lead the main character to the end scene.

This is a part of the Flood storyboard in which this floral element appears. The images are very sketchy but the flower animation is with the level of detail to be expected in the film.

THE KEY GROWTH, Is the book I created during the MA course in London, It become a ‘botanic guide’ for emotions that were depicted as imaginary plants, and here you can view some spreads, and illustrations. The book featured description of the made up plants as well as caring advice that was a poetic take on the emotions and the way to look after them, or not in the case of JEALOUSY for example. The last plant in the book I picked to be – empathy for it’s second to none abilities to revive gardens that haven’t been cared for a while.
