James Abbott McNeill Whistler

Inspiring work for my research for the Shape of Colours Project. Tate Britain owns a few of the Nocturnes and there is an interesting article about his work here. I can see those moving and vibrating in a modern way. I like the monochromatic colour that translates itself to a meaningful image through our experience and association. Scare information makes them very beautiful to me.
