Interesting Logo and execution – Tristan Bates Theatre

I really liked the logo, I have noticed it after I did Carteirra graphics, however there are obvious similarities. For my client we also used a raw technique to bring in the shapes that come out because of the surrounding. The technique we used was traditional embossing, which done in two thickness of type, and done on various types of paper gave us a good choice. The Tristan Bates Theatre has another interesting technique, curving the shapes in a metal plate. I am not sure who is the designer behind this graphic, but for various reasons I find it interesting. 

I love theatre but have never been in this one, I am looking forward visiting the space one day. The link to their site is here.
